On behalf of the Eco Yoga Store team, our thoughts are with the communities impacted by the COVID-19 outbreak.
At Eco Yoga Store our top priority is first and foremost the health of our people, our customers and their families, and we are operating In line with the advice and recommendations from the New Zealand Ministry of Health, and remain fully committed to delivering the highest levels of service that you've come to expect from us, and we will continue to adapt where needed to ensure we maintain these standards.
Many courier companies including our partners, have notified of disaster preparedness plans and are taking various actions and precautions with the evolving situation.
New protocols in place to prioritise the health and safety of couriers and our customers
We have temporarily updated our delivery protocols to limit interaction between courier and receiver, these are summarised below:
Blanket Authority to Leave Policy
From 17 March 2020, a blanket "Authority to Leave" service will be put in place for all residential and business deliveries in New Zealand. To minimise physical contact, Couriers will be required to leave customer parcels at a safe location out of public sighting at the designated delivery address.
For our New Zealand customers we also encourage you to make this process even more effective by completing a Permanent Authority to Leave form specifying a designated safe location.
Signature Required Services
If a ‘Signature Required’ service is in place; all Couriers will be required to take a photo as proof of delivery if able to leave in a safe and secure place. Otherwise, the Courier will follow the standard process which is to leave a card to call and return the parcel to the local depot where it will be available for uplift.
Other measures like those above will possibly continue to arise and affect the courier industry overall, and so we appreciate your assistance and understanding during this time.
