The modern day Indian bed of nails! The Acupressure mat has existed in India for relaxation exercises, meditation and yoga for thousands of years.

The TRIBE Acupressure Mat with 6,534 spikes is a therapeutic tool that uses the benefits of acupressure points to bring about a feeling of deep relaxation. A modern day take on the ancient concept of a 'Bed of Nails', it is designed to combat stress, sleep problems and pain while encouraging circulation, muscle recovery and relaxation.

The TRIBE Acupressure mat activates the body's own production of endorphins, "natural painkillers", which are also released during exercise; these endorphins give pain relief and a sense of physical well-being. As well as endorphins, the body also releases oxytocin that helps with relaxation, helping you to wind down and making it easier to fall asleep.

Remove the outer cover from your acupressure mat and turn it inside out so that the sharp points are on the inside.

Hand wash with detergent and hang outside to dry.

Do not iron.

Put back onto the inner foam cushion once completely dry.

When you're starting out on a new area you can adjust the intensity by limiting or adding body weight onto the mat.

Tibetan singing bowls, also known as Himalayan bowls, date back to at least 3000 years ago, and are used by musicians, sound healers and yoga practitioners for therapy and meditation, and are often played to start and end a yoga practice session.

When played, Tibetan singing bowls vibrate and produce a deep, rich tone, transporting us to calmness, stillness, and peacefulness.

In alternative medicine, many proponents claim that these vibrations can produce beneficial changes within the body by reducing stress, "harmonizing" the cells, and "balancing the body's energy system." Some also claim that Tibetan singing bowls can stimulate the immune system and produce beneficial changes in brain waves.

Almost everyone agrees that they induce a calming, meditative, and restorative experience.

To play the bowl, sit with a straight spine, and hold the bowl in your flat hand; keep your fingers extended and avoid cupping your hand or curling your fingers around the base.

You play the bowl by gently but firmly circling the outside rim with the wooden striker. Once it starts to sing you can slow your movement; the bowl will continue to vibrate and sing even after you’ve stopped circling with the mallet.
