Wool has served humans' wellbeing for 8000 years, offering warmth and comfort in a non-harmful way. The surface is printed with a biodegradable grip texture to ensure your hands and feet stay firmly in place. Yolana is good for your health and good for the planet.
The Yolana mat is thoughtfully crafted from 100% pure New Zealand wool, with no dyes or additives. The textured look comes from a unique blend of 90% white wool and 10% black wool.
Plus, every mat comes with a free cotton canvas carry bag!

What about when my practice mat gets wet from sweating during the practice?
Wool can absorb up to 35% of its weight in water, which is how it wicks sweat away from your mat so effectively. Once practice is completed, if wet, allow it to dry by leaving it flat for a while, preferably in a sunny area. That said, we don’t recommend to use our practice mat in hot studios, because humid and hot environments can shorten the shelf life of your new natural fibre practice mat.
How do I clean it?
The wool fibre is coated in its lanolin, which stops bacteria from attacking it. All you need to do to clean it is leave the mat flat out to dry after a sweaty practice, ideally under direct sunlight. If stained, spot dry cleaning is an effective solution.
Only New Zealand wool is sourced for these mats because of the high ethical standards of animal welfare in this country, as well as the guaranteed fibre specs that can be ensured through supply agreements with the farmers. New Zealand farmers have led the way in on-farm research and education programs establishing best practices for animal health.

Tibetan Singing Bowl
Regular price$59.95 NZD
Save $-59.95 NZD
Tibetan singing bowls, also known as Himalayan bowls, date back to at least 3000 years ago, and are used by musicians, sound healers and yoga practitioners for therapy and meditation, and are often played to start and end a yoga practice session.
When played, Tibetan singing bowls vibrate and produce a deep, rich tone, transporting us to calmness, stillness, and peacefulness.
In alternative medicine, many proponents claim that these vibrations can produce beneficial changes within the body by reducing stress, "harmonizing" the cells, and "balancing the body's energy system." Some also claim that Tibetan singing bowls can stimulate the immune system and produce beneficial changes in brain waves.
Almost everyone agrees that they induce a calming, meditative, and restorative experience.
Singing Bowl hand crafted from brass
Pack includes: singing bowl, wood striker, cotton pad
Bowl: 145mm x 65mm
Wood Striker: 185mm x 25mm
Cotton Pad: 145mm x 25 mm
Gives out low frequency sound, that can go deep into the bodies core to loosen the mood
Suitable for meditation, yoga, chakra and personal well-being
To play the bowl, sit with a straight spine, and hold the bowl in your flat hand; keep your fingers extended and avoid cupping your hand or curling your fingers around the base.
You play the bowl by gently but firmly circling the outside rim with the wooden striker. Once it starts to sing you can slow your movement; the bowl will continue to vibrate and sing even after you’ve stopped circling with the mallet.
