TRIBE brings you this high performance round bolster with a GOTS certified organic cotton cover.

The bolster offers premium support due to its size and unique kapok filling - Kapok is lightweight, resistant to dust mites, mould and mildew, so it is hygienic, non toxic, hypoallergenic and environmentally friendly.

A fully packed kapok bolster weighs under 1.8kgs, nearly half that of a wool bolster. So you get all the support without the weight!

Over time this bolster will compress down to a slightly more oval shape which is the ideal shape to support you - a perfect prop for restorative yoga.

Plus, when not in use will sit comfortably as a soft furnishing for your home!

  • Super lightweight at 1.8kg
  • Filled with 100% natural sustainable kapok
  • Zip off organic cotton cover for easy washing
  • Handles at both ends for easy maneuverability
  • Inner casing also has a zip so you can add or take away filling

The outer cover can be removed and washed on a cold, gentle wash cycle. It is recommended you do not wash in warm or hot water as that may cause the cover to shrink slightly and then it's very tricky to get back on the inner bolster!

Hang outside to line dry or use a dryer on a low heat setting.

Kapok filling comes from sustainably grown & managed Kapok Trees in Java, Indonesia
  • No pesticides
  • No insecticides
  • No irrigation
  • Kapok trees can live for up to 300 years
  • Harvested by hand, the seeds and fibres are stirred in a basket; the seeds fall to the bottom, leaving the fibres free
  • The seeds may be processed to obtain oil for making soap, and the residue is used as fertiliser and cattle feed

These bolsters are perfect for my Yoga School. I ordered 12 of them, 3 different matching beautiful colours, 4 each. They are firm enough to give good support, but soft enough to feel comfortable. They give enough height to sit on for student who need that and also enough height for ensuring good chest opening is some poses.
