TRIBE brings you this high performance round bolster that offers premium support due to its size and unique kapok filling - Kapok is lightweight, resistant to dust mites, mould and mildew, so it is hygienic, non toxic, hypo allergenic and environmentally friendly.

Miraculous silky kapok fibre is one of the few sustainable crops, because the tree needs no cultivation or irrigation.

A fully packed kapok bolster weighs under 1.8kgs, nearly half that of a wool bolster. So you get all the support without the weight!

Complete with a plush, luxurious, suede like fabric cover for a soft comforting feel.

Over time this bolster will compress down to a slightly more oval shape which is the ideal shape to support you.

Inner casing also has a zip so you can add or take away filling

The outer cover can be removed and washed on a cold, gentle wash cycle. It is recommended you do not wash in warm or hot water as that may cause the cover to shrink slightly and then it's very tricky to get back on the inner bolster!

Hang outside to line dry or use a dryer on a low heat setting.

Kapok filling comes from sustainably grown & managed Kapok Trees in Java, Indonesia

Kapok trees can live for up to 300 years
Harvested by hand, the seeds and fibres are stirred in a basket; the seeds fall to the bottom, leaving the fibres free
The seeds may be processed to obtain oil for making soap, and the residue is used as fertiliser and cattle feed

I think these are the best in the market. They hold their shape, aren’t heavy to move and have a strap at each end which makes them manoeuvrable with minimal effort.
