It is suitable for all types of yoga, including the practice of powerful and dynamic yoga frequencies and styles.

The grip will develop with use, but if you sweat a lot while you practice we suggest you team your TRIBE ReGen yoga mat with a TRIBE Get A Grip towel or get some Get A Grip Powder.

Too slippy

Nice mat but is way way too slippy for anything other than yin. Not sure how long it will take to break in!!

Our ReGen yoga mat is designed with a focus on stability, density, and durability, prioritizing these features over an extremely grippy surface. The medium grip allows fluid movements during poses while engaging your core and hand pressure for stability.
The surface, and hence the grip, will change and improve with use - as you practice, the top surface will naturally wear in, creating a unique and personalized feel. The more you move, bend, sweat, and breathe on it, the better it will become!
To help prevent you from slipping during the break-in process we would recommend that you use our Get-a-Grip Powder, which will give you the assurity and confidence to enjoy your practice.

i really like that the Regen comes from recycled mats, plus its easy to grip onto and into for a new non rubber mat.Good thickness for comfortable use. I think I'll get one for my daughter instead of letting her use my old worn mat as a new user.
